As a way to value young people from Goianésia and encourage new talent, Jalles Machado develops the Young Apprentice Program, which offers formation, training and the opportunity to learn and develop a profession within the Company's sectors.
In total, 100 young people are enrolled in the Program, 50 in the Alcohol and Sugar Production Assistant course and 50 in the Agricultural Machinery Mechanic Assistant course.
Developed in partnership with the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) and Senai, the program lasts for one year, divided into two stages: daily four-hour theoretical classes at Senai for six months and practical classes at Jalles Machado six hours daily during the other six months. In the company, each young apprentice will be accompanied by a sponsor, who will develop a mentoring relationship.
“I have high expectations. Jalles Machado is a big company, I want to enter in it and pursue a career. This scholarship is very important because it helps us to start working life,” says the young Gideon Policena.
“I am very happy to have this opportunity. I am learning and gaining a lot of knowledge. This course is my gateway to work at Jalles Machado Company,” says Amanda Medeiros.
In addition to having the opportunity to learn a profession, these young people also receive a daily allowance. At the end of the program, they may be hired to join Jalles Machado, according to their performance and availability of vacancies.
“It is an opportunity for young people to learn a profession and enter the job market and to develop a professional career. At Jalles Machado staff, we have several employees who started out as Young Apprentices and today have a career within the Company,” says training instructor Bento Paulino.
